A short link for every new row
A new row in Google Sheets or Airtable gets a short link in the next column.

n8n integration
Connect LinkTwin to your n8n workflows with the built-in HTTP Request node. Send each new URL to LinkTwin and get back a short link that opens in the right app, and let LinkTwin call your Webhook node each time you create a link or someone clicks one.
Works both ways
n8n can create links through the LinkTwin API, and LinkTwin can send n8n a JSON event when something happens in your account.
Add an HTTP Request node that sends a POST request to the LinkTwin API. The next node can use the short link it returns.

"shorturl": "https://linktw.in/desk-tour",
"title": "My $200 desk setup (full tour)",
"description": "A full tour of my $200 desk setup."
}
Start a workflow with a Webhook node set to POST and paste its production URL on the Zapier integration page in your dashboard, which accepts any webhook URL. LinkTwin posts a JSON event each time you create a short link and each time someone clicks one.

Setup
One request to the LinkTwin API, with your API key in the Authorization header and the URL in the body.
Copy your API key from Settings in your LinkTwin dashboard. API access comes on every plan.
In n8n, create a Header Auth credential with the name Authorization and the value Bearer followed by your key.
POST the URL to the LinkTwin API with the settings below. The next node gets shorturl from the response.
Use these settings. The expression reads the url field of each incoming item.
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Node | HTTP Request |
| Method | POST |
| URL | https://linktw.in/api/url/add |
| Authentication | Generic Credential Type, Header Auth |
| Header Auth credential | Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY |
| Body | JSON, url = {{ $json.url }} |

Each one is a trigger, the LinkTwin step and one action. Swap the apps for the ones you use.

Yes, in both directions. An HTTP Request node creates links through the LinkTwin API, and a Webhook node can receive an event from LinkTwin each time you create a link or someone clicks one.
No, and you do not need one. The built-in HTTP Request node calls the LinkTwin API with a Header Auth credential, and it works the same on n8n Cloud and on a self-hosted n8n.
Creating links from n8n uses the LinkTwin API, and API access comes on every plan. You can create a free account first and upgrade when you are ready to connect n8n.
Yes. A link made from n8n is the same as one made in the dashboard: YouTube, Amazon, Spotify and other supported links open in the app on a phone, and fall back to the web page when the app is not installed.
Yes. n8n runs the HTTP Request node once for each item, so a list of URLs becomes a list of short links. For big batches, stay under the rate limit.
The REST API, the MCP server and the CLI all use the same API key and manage the same links.
